Neil is presently studying for his Master of Architecture degree (Part 2) at the London School of Architecture. He is the oldest member of the team and has had a less than typical route into the industry, first working as a barber then crossing into the building trade. He has finally found architecture as the subject that can combine his creative energy with his keen interest in construction. Neil worked at Foster+Partners while undertaking his placement year; the experience of working on large commercially driven projects allowed him to refocus his belief that architecture should centre around people and their communities. Effective design should not only be for those that can afford it but for those that it will impact the most and that working within communities will only increase the projects value.
